Golang Job: Software Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote GoLang Software Developer to join a growing Information Technology company. The GoLang Software Developer will build portals to utilize internet security products.

Responsibilities for the GoLang Software Developer include:

• Collaborate with the Agile team to design and test code to produce services and products
• Implement unit tests with code using TDD and BDD principles
• Leverage platform services such as API gateways, SQL, and document-based databases (Kafka streams, Elasticsearch repositories, Redis, etc.)
• Consistently measure the health and performance of services built
• Learn new concepts and technologies to share with the team to leverage and contribute to the evolving shared infrastructure

Qualifications for the GoLang Software Developer include:

• 7+ years of experience developing at-scale software and services
• 3+ years of experience actively writing software in Go
• Experience with API design, Graph QL, and REST
• Experience with leading projects, elastic search, datawarehouse concepts, and application security
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Compensation for the GoLang Software Developer includes:

• Salary Range: $155,000-175,000 – Hourly Pay: $75/hr - $85/hr **depending on experience**
